How do we calculate the average write off figures on our adverts and website?
* This figure is based on Ramsey Lomax clients being put forward for an IVA between Jan 2019 to July 2019. This figure assumes successful completion of a IVA. We calculate the amount written off by multiplying a clients disposable income by 60 and removing that amount from the total debt level of the client. For example, a client pays 60 payments of £100 which is £6000. Their total debt is £20,000 which means they write off £14,000 upon completion of their IVA.
The biggest right off figure for a customer of £67,217 is for a customer being put forward for an IVA April 2019.
